CHARLES NAPIER PERRY

He was born on Oct. 10, 1916, in Santa Monica, Calf., the son of Charles Napier Perry, Sr., and Grace Davidson Perry. He was married on Dec. 20, 1939, in Los Angeles, Calf., to Beverly Macdonald who preceded him on May 13, 2002. Mr. Perry graduated in 1933 from high school in Hollywood, Calf., and attended the University of California at Berkeley. He retired as Vice-president of Quality Control from Emerson Electric in St. Louis where he had been employed for twenty-five years. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Perry was a member of Senior Core of Retired Executives (SCORE); Past Chairman of Counselors to Americas Small Business in Orange County, Calf., whom he served for over twenty-five years; various Parent Teacher Associations; Rotary International in the San Francisco Bay area; and Alpha Tau Omega Social Fraternity.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Martha Perry, Lohman, Mo.; and four grandchildren, Stuart Bailey, Suzzane Bailey; Chris Perry; and Lindsay Perry-Hartley. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Bailey; two brothers, Richard Perry and Ward Perry; and two sisters, Prudence Plowe and Winifred Fall.
