Christopher Marcus Lane

Christopher was born on August 29, 1985, in Jefferson City to his parents, Donald Eugene Lane, Jr. and the late Sally Ann (Kelsey) Lane.
A 2004 graduate of Blair Oaks High School, Christopher was an auto body technician with several mid-Missouri body shops.
In earlier years, he was a boy scout and continued to be involved with his son, Oscar. He was a talented artist. He left many wood and metal works, sketches and canvas paintings for the family and friends to cherish. He also enjoyed demolition derbies, hunting, fishing, and loved being with his son and family.
He is survived by a son, Oscar Lane, Jefferson City; his father, Donald Lane, Jr. , Taos; a brother, Michael Lane, Taos; a sister, Rebecca Lane, Taos; maternal grandmother, Dolores Kelsey, Jefferson City; niece and nephew, Claira Lane and James Hutson, Taos; and Oscar’s mother, Kim Aung, Jefferson City.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Ann Lane; maternal grandfather, Jimmie Kelsey; and paternal grandparents, Don and Betty Lane.
Visitation will be 4:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2020, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. I.C. Medina officiating.
The general public is welcome to attend the services while following social distancing guidelines. Facial coverings are required while in attendance.
Burial with will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to an education fund for his son.
Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Last time we saw each other: waxing a huge RV in 4 hours, killing a 12 pack and laughing til I couldn’t breathe. All the loss in 2020 I expected but not you. You’ll be greatly missed, bud.
