Cletus John Scheulen

January 21, 1938 ~ September 22, 2019
He was born on January 21, 1938, in St. Louis, the son of the late Herman and Marie (Vaughan) Scheulen.
Cletus served his country in the United States Army.
He worked as a carpenter foreman with JC Industries and later with Thoenen's/Action Realty doing carpentry work and maintenance.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion.
Cletus loved to work and enjoyed dancing.
Survivors include four children, Jane Marie (Rodney) Schaben; Diane (Steve) Neuner; Jeffrey (Catherine) Scheulen; Tricia (Brian) Leivian, all of Linn; twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and seven siblings, Margaret (Leroy) Woehr, Folk; Charles (Margaret) Scheulen, Linn; Robert (Judy) Scheulen, Linn; George (Debbie) Scheulen, Linn; Carl (Sharon) Scheulen, Jefferson City; Carol McKee, Jefferson City; Jim (Diann) Scheulen, Linn; and a special friend, Carol Wewerka, Jefferson City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a great-grandchild, and a brother-in-law, Lynn McKee.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City, with the Rev. James Finder officiating.
Burial with military honors will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at St. George Cemetery, Linn, Missouri.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
