Daniel Lee Camp

Daniel Lee Camp, 86, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at River City Living Community.
Danny was born on December 3, 1937, in Davenport, IA, the son of Irvin Lee and Virgie Irene (Hull) Camp.
A 1955 graduate of Troy High School in Iowa. He received his bachelor’s degree from Central Christian College of the Bible in 1961. Daniel then attended Huntington College in Indiana to obtain his master’s degree.
Daniel devoted his life to Christian ministry, being Ordained in 1958, and preached in several states, including Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, and Texas.
On August 28, 1961, at Union Avenue Christian Church in Moberly, Missouri, Danny was united in marriage to Ewella Margaret Dake, who preceded him in death on January 5, 2020.
He retired from Christian Prison Ministry of Missouri in July 2014 as Executive Director.
He was a member of Capital City Christian Church.
Survivors include his children, son and daughter in-law, Dan and Sherri Camp of Lewis Center, Ohio; son and daughter in-law Del and Kim Camp of Joplin, MO; granddaughter, Madi King and husband Landon, grandson Colter Camp; one great-granddaughter Lindly King; sister and brother in-law, Collene (Don) Engle of Tipton, MO, and a brother and sister in-law, Leonard (Mona) Camp of Queen Creek, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and one brother, Clinton Camp.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Trimble Funeral Homes in Jefferson City with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m., with Pastor Russ Howard officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly.

I am sorry to hear this, I just fount out while looking up my father cemetery because I am in de moins Iowa for the weekend .I would came to the services if I new my uncle past
