Daryl Lee Glascock, 53, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at St. Marys Health Center. He was born on Sept. 25, 1952 in Hannibal, MO, the son of Thomas Eugene and Roberta Eileen Schleiermacher Glascock who survive in Jefferson City. He was married on June 21, 1975 in Des Plaines, IL to Anita Theresa Moritz who survives at the home. He was a 1970 graduate of North Shelby High School in Shelbyville, MO, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Northeast Missouri State University in 1974. Mr. Glascock was employed as a Computer Programmer Analyst for over twenty years with the Missouri Department of Employment Security. For the past eight years he was serving as Information Technology Specialist with the Missouri Department of Health. He was a member of Community Christian Church where he served as Elder and Deacon and member of the Building Committee; past treasurer and webmaster for the Jefferson City High School Jay Band Boosters; YMCA; Bares Co-ed Softball Team; and was an avid recreational volleyball player. He earned several ribbons in the forty-yard dash and high jump competitions during the Missouri Senior Games and the Missouri Senor Bears Mens softball team. He coached girls basketball at the grade and middle school levels. He also enjoyed motorcycling and snow skiing. Other survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Angela Beth and Roman Bulawski, Rockaway, New Jersey; and Melanie Jean Glascock and Lindsay Michelle Glascock, both at home; two brothers and their wives, Kenneth E. and Michelle Glascock, San Antonio, Texas; and Dr. Dennis H. and Kathleen Glascock, OFallon, MO; and one sister, Carolyn D. Glascock, Lombard, IL. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at Community Christian Church with the Rev. David L. Avery officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Community Christian Church Building Fund, 409 Ellis Boulevard, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
