  1. Dave (alias “Mort”) was our great fraternity brother. He lived for a while in Egypt and helped my son on a school project with his first hand knowledge of the Sphinx.

Dave’s passing is a big loss to all of us. He was a good man and a good friend.

  2. Dave was one of the most intelligent and funny persons I have had the privilege to call a friend for well over 50 years.

  3. David and his sister, Phyllis could play crossword puzzles for hours. David being extremely smart like everyone has said and so connected with his sister they played the game often times, flawlessly. David very crafty able to help solicit the answer out of Phyllis’s quite equally very brilliant mind that as a brother, only he knew in some ways. One way, was to get her to always come up with the word, pluck it out of her mind. They shared quite a closeness. I was very impressed by their sense of trust between them.
