  1. My family owes so much to Delmar, he helped us in so many ways , at anytime no matter what. He is and was a salt of the earth type person, a good man, a faithful friend. Sympathies to your family Delmar, your leaving this place far too soon.

  2. There was not a better man in my life time and my best friend. You will never be forgotten and hope to see you latter. Say hi to my dad my friend.

  3. Delmar is my brother. He was my first best friend. I know that he taught me many things, the first was to walk. He was 11 when I was born and I am sure that there were many other things that he would have rather been doing. He has always been that person that I could depend on, and I always felt safe when he was near. He was a U. S. Marine. I thought he would never come back, but one day there was a knock on the schoolroom door and there he was! I prided my third-grade self on not ever crying, but that day there were so many happy tears. He was so good to me and his younger brothers. My Dad gave Delmar some advice, he said not to marry someone who lived a great distance from our home. He followed Dad’s advice. He married Catherine. She lived less than a mile from us. She is a great lady and it is my honor and pleasure to call her my sister. I love my brother, Delmar so very much and he has always made me proud.

  4. Catherine and your family,
So sorry for your loss! Delmar was such a good guy! Sending Prayers for comfort for all of you!
