Delores B. Farris, 74, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born January 13, 1948, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Herbert Joseph and Nothburga Martina (Toebben) Rademan.

Delores was a 1966 graduate of Jefferson City High School.

She was united in marriage on October 7, 1967, at St. Martins Catholic Church to Stanley Ray Farris who survives at the home.

Delores worked at Capital Region Medical Center as a lead cook for 27 years. She was a loving and very caring wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, enjoyed counting cross-stitch and sewing, cooking for family and friends, and loved being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley Farris, Jefferson City; Paula (Jimmie) Chesnut, Taos; Kenneth (Kelley) Farris, Centertown; Richard (Jennifer) Farris, Jefferson City; Kathy (Will) Fritz, Jefferson City; nine grandchildren, Joshua Chesnut, Jacob Chesnut, Casey Farris, Caleb Farris, Cody Farris, Ethan Farris, Dalton Fritz, Kyleigh Fritz, Kloie Fritz; and five siblings, Mary Ann (Bill) Haselhorst, Jefferson City; Bernard (Mary Lou) Rademan, Jefferson City; Charles (Sharon) Rademan, Osage Bend; Nadine (Dale) Johnson, Higbee; and Clara (Dan) Hillen, Jefferson City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Virginia (Jerry) McBride; and a brother, Fred Rademan.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 4th at Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City with a rosary recited at 3:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday October 5th at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Brad Berhorst officiating.

Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Masses.
