Deloris M. Holzer, 74, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at St. Marys Health Center. She was born on July 14, 1932, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Regina Margaret Holzer who preceded her on June 27, 2002. She was a graduate of Eugene High School. Miss Holzer was employed in earlier years with the Thrift Shop, and later with Von Hoffman Press for thirty-three years until retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church; Ave Maria Prayer Group; American Legion Auxiliary; and a dedicated supporter of the Ladies Sodality. Survivors include three aunts, Mary Ann Holzer, St. Martins; Erma Holzer, Wardsville; and Carrie Landtiser, Lees Summit, MO; two step-sisters, Nelda Mae Schmidt, Loose Creek, MO; and Delma Perrot, Bonnots Mill, MO; two step-brothers, Raymond Jaegers and his wife, Leona, Linn, MO; and Edward Jaegers, Linn, MO; sixteen step-nieces and nephews; thirty-eight great-step-nieces and nephews; forty-two great-great-step-nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Regina and Peter Jaegers; three step-sisters, Della Neun; Mary Jaegers; and Viola Backes; three step-brothers, Homer Jaegers; Leslie Jaegers; and Peter Jaegers, Jr.; nine uncles; and seven aunts. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at St. Peter Catholic Church with Msgr. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church, 216 Broadway Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
