He also refereed soccer games for many years, and regularly participated by coaching, refereeing, or supporting his daughter at the Show Me State Competitions. In his down time, Dennis loved to travel or camp with his family. He was constantly supportive of his daughter, Ashley, and was sure to involve her and the family in his interests.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Vickie; and their daughter, Ashley (Alexander) Richards, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

A nicer guy I haven’t met! We didn’t get to spend a lot of time together being we’re a whole state away, but Dennis was always cordial and gentle-spirited…the kind of guy I’d enjoy spending more time with had we had the opportunity.
I also know he & Vickie did a marvelous job of raising Ashley; as our daughter-in-law she is truly a joy and blessing to our family and her upbringing & character are a tribute to Dennis & Vickie. Now his spirit lives on in her.
Happy trails, Dennis. May the Lord hold you gently in the palm of His hand…
I loved being around Dennis! I felt he was great at everything. I was his AR many times in the soccer field. He always was in the correct position & he would always look over to me and I would give him a thumbs up, he would return with a smile and a thumbs up,.
He managed CMSRA with high respect and he cared about doing the BEST in anything he did.
Wonderful friend , family man & loved his job.
I have many great memories with his family at the soccer pitch!
God Love him!
