Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. How do I begin to describe what a 37 year friendship means? With a true friend like Diane Piper, each year gets stronger until you love each other like sisters. Diane was a friend you could call anytime day or night and she was ready to listen, cry with you or reassure you! I have so many memories, I could never pick one, instead I could write a novel. Diane had a very unique personality, that few have been blessed to possess. She loved to laugh and the wrinkles on both our faces were more from laughing together than aging together! A truer friend could never have been found than Diane Piper, and I will miss her for the rest of my days!

  2. I had a 52-year friendship with Diane and it would be hard to find a better friend! Although we lived in different states, when we got together it was like I had just seen her last week. I could always count on a good laugh when we had one of our hour long phone calls. She will be missed greatly.

  3. Jon and I were neighbors to Diane for about 20 years. She had a great love of flowers and took great pride in her lawn. Enjoyed our conversations out in the yard. Your smile will be missed. Sincerely Jon and Lois Alexander

  4. Friendship, love & coffee. The bounding of 4 women 37 years ago over morning coffee was a gift from God. Diane’s smile and laughter will be sorely missed. My favorite memory is Diane with three year old son Jason walking up the street to coffee at Marilyn’s house. I am thankful to have had the privilege to know this beautiful lady. You will be missed! ❤️

  5. The first memory of Diane is her huge smile and infectious laugh which she has generously shared through out her life. I started kindergarten with her and we have been friends and had wonderful adventures together for many years. Be at peace my friend.

  6. Diane was a Great First Cousin on the Cogdill side. She was 54 days younger than me. I always enjoyed her long phone conversations. It always seemed as if we talked yesterday, even if it had been months. I’m going to miss her text each spring about turning the Bulls out. Thoughts and Prayers to the Family. Sincerely, Cuz Sam Cogdill

  7. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Sincerely Americas First Network Credit Union formally known as PCAFCU.

  8. You and your families have my sympathy and prayers. Diane and I were very close Friends in high school, always giggling, and having fun and good times together. She was a very nice person to know. Sincerely, Diane Lake

  9. Diane, you will always be missed and remembered in our hearts with love. Hope you are doing the polka with Ervie and having a blast!

  10. I worked with Diane at Pier 1 and got to know her there. A group of us became good friends and continued to visit after the store closed. She was so kind and fun. I will miss her. We all will. My prayers are with your family.
