I have great memories of Don. I think the first time I met him was at Steve and Theresa’s rehearsal dinner. After that it was frequently at back yard BBQ’s at Steve and Theresa’s house or baptisms of grandchildren. You could tell that he really enjoyed his granddaughters. I loved his involvement with their fishing derby activities. One of my favorite memories is of how much joy he brought to my dad with their “plans” to do something with Adrien’s Island. Dad had so much fun cutting up with Don. He was indeed a good soul. Prayers for Delores and the family for he will be missed!
I went to Immaculate Conception Grade School, St Peters then Helias High Schools, and even Lincoln University and we had a lot of fun over that span of years. And even more memories when we became step brother/sister. He will be missed by all the extended family. My love and prayers go out to Delores and family.
I worked with Don for several years and when I was going through a rough time, I found him to be so supportive and caring. I always respected his compassionate, caring attitude toward all of us. Since we have both retired, I have seen him a couple of times but I will always remember him fondly. Sandy Oidtman
