Donald Joseph D.J. Luebbert, 39, of Fayette, Mo, died Saturday, October 2, 2010.
He was born on June 7, 1971, the son of Donald Joseph and Elaine Rose Schauwecker Luebbert. His father preceded him in death. D.J. attended the Special Learning Center, and was a graduate of the H. Kenneth Kirschner School. While living in Jefferson City, D.J. worked at the Sheltered Workshop. After moving to Fayette, D.J. lived at the Braun Home where he loved spending his time there. While at the Braun Home, he participated with the Endless Options program. D.J. was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, participated with the Special Olympics, and attended Camp Wonderland. D.J. loved watching the Price Is Right and playing Paddle Ball.
Survivors include: his mother, Elaine Luebbert, of Jefferson City.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Msgr. David D. Cox officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
