Dear Judy and family I was so sorry to read of Ed’s passing. I can’t name other friends who have been married for 60 years. Your relationship was very special. It was so nice seeing you at the reunion in 2019 in Sheridan. CR’s parents were so fond of Ed’s parents. God Bless Frankie Gillen Gibbs
I am so sorry to hear about Ed. Although you do not know me personally, I remember Ed and especially his parents, who lived on what is now Brundage Lane, in Sheridan. I have fond memories as a child riding my bike over to his parent’s house from our house on Big Horn Ave, or walking past the barn and corral down through our lower pasture, to visit. They, like Ed, were extremely nice and gracious. Bruce Edwards, Sheridan, WY

I did not know Mr. Wilkerson, nor do I know any of you. However I wished to offer condolences for your lost loved one. I thank him and your family for the sacrifices you all made that he might serve our country. “Moreover, brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who are sleeping in death, so that you may not have sorrow….. for if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too will God bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death.” 1Thess. 4:13-14
I met Mr. Wilkerson through Troop 10 Boy Scouts. He was very nice man. I remember going on several camping trips with Mr. Wilkerson and Eddie. I would like to give my condolences to his family.
Dear Mrs. Wilkerson, Cissy and Eddie, I am so sorry for your loss and send my deepest and sincerest condolences. Mr. Wilkerson, and your entire family, are like a second family to me. I will always treasure the memories of the corner candy shop whenever we stopped through on our way home from school. I also treasure and reflect upon often rhe memory of when he accompanied me to my Cotillion my senior year of high school as my father figure. During the father daughter dance I felt like I was dancing on air as he led me around the dance floor. Thank you for lending him to me that evening and many other times in my life. He was a good, caring, engaged and funny man and I am thankful the universe saw fit to have our paths intercept. He was a wonderful fun loving man and will be missed.

Thank you David. He enjoyed the camping and the people so much! Something that happened in scouts always came up every time I came home. The picture looks like Philmont, He enjoyed that trip so much that he went with the troop again without me when I was in college. I remember your dad carving a radiator cap out of wood on the way there when the one for your car broke. It Worked!
Many called him Mr. Wilkerson but I called him Mr. ED. Your family neighbored my grandparents on Locust St back in the day, which left fond memories of both Mr. Ed and Judy. Then after joining the staff at Lincoln University, Mr. Ed and I grew to know one another as adults. He was a great mentor and father away from my father figure. He extended offers and help to me regarding my education without any ado, and I am forever grateful for his kindness! Judy, Cissy, Ed Jr and Evan you have my deepest condolences on the loss of your loved one and my prayers are with you all!!
I also fondly remember Mr. Wilkerson from Troop 10 Boy Scout days. I have great memories from many camping trips and Philmont. I really appreciated the time he spent with us scouts. My condolences to Ed and the rest of the family.
