Elizabeth Frances Betty Nilges, 61, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, September 9, 2006, at St. Marys Health Center. She was born on February 20, 1945 in Jefferson City, MO, the daughter of Joseph Clarence Bosch, Sr. and Lorraine Johanna Schulte Bosch. She was married on May 28, 1966, in Jefferson City to Raymond Louis Nilges who survives at the home. She was a 1963 graduate of Helias High School and worked for several years as a bookkeeper at the News Tribune, retiring in 1976 due to illness. Above all else, she was always a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 1003. Other survivors include one son, Michael Nilges, St. Louis; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Rayna and James Rice, Jefferson City, and Bethany and Bill Goodin, Jefferson City; five grandchildren, Kayla Nilges, Natalie Rice, William Goodin, Rebecca Gracie Goodin, and Chelsea Goodin; three brothers and their wives, Joe and Kathy Bosch, Jr., Jefferson City, Dennis and Ann Bosch, Independence, MO, and Chris and Barb Bosch, Jefferson City; five sisters and one brother-in-law, Sandra Amend, Susan Bosch, Carolyn Welschmeyer, Michile Mickie Bosch, all of Jefferson City, and Jeanie and Mike Boeckman, Austin, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13th , 2006 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Ignazio C. Medina officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, % Arthritis Foundation, 8390 Delmar Blvd. St. Lo., MO 63124; and the National Spasmodic Torticollis Association, 9920 Talbert Ave., Fountain Valley, CA 92708.
