Emily Marguerite Powell, 99 of Jefferson City, died Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Jefferson City Manor Care Center. She was born on Oct. 6, 1908 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Otto and Henrietta Keim Babitsky. She was married on Aug. 6, 1932, in Erie, PA to Stanley W. Powell who died in 1978. Mrs. Powell graduated from West Technical High School. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, MO. Survivors include one daughter, Arline V. Crouse, Jefferson City; two grandchildren, Kathy Powell, Kansas City, MO and Brian Crouse, Jefferson City; and two great-grandchildren, Edward Crouse and Christian Crouse. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Stanley William Powell; five brothers, infant brother George; Alfred; Raymond; Walter; and Elmer. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Tony Ward officiating. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Park, St. Louis, Mo.
