Ermalinda (Erma) A. Hasenbeck, 93, Jefferson City, formerly of Freeburg, died Wednesday, November 21,2007 at Adams Street Place, Jefferson City, MO. She was born on June 26, 1914 in Freeburg, the daughter of Theodore John and Elizabeth Marie Lueckenhoff Neuner. She was married to Linus James Hasenbeck on October 15, 1935 in St. Anthony, MO. He died June 30, 1986. She was a 1932 graduate of Notre Dame High School, St. Louis. A homemaker, she taught for three years in rural Osage County and worked at Quaker Window Company for twelve years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, where she directed the adult choir for many years; and the American Legion Auxiliary, serving as secretary for fourteen years, and was a Gold Star parent. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and working crossword puzzles. Survivors include four sons and four daughters-in-law, Gerald and Judy Hasenbeck, Larry and Ruth Hasenbeck, all of Jefferson City; Ted and Shirley Hasenbeck, Rich Fountain; and Robert and Carol Hasenbeck, Jefferson City; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mildred and Joe Schulte, Nanuet, N.Y.; Elaine and Pat Healey, Jefferson City; and Jeanie Hasenbeck, Daly City, CA; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Irene Neuner, Mary Ann Neuner, and Marge and Bill Bose, all of Jefferson City; and one brother and sister-in-law, Theodore (Ted) and Jeanette Neuner. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Paul A. Hasenbeck POW/MIA; one granddaughter, Zoe Schulte; one sister, Loretta Neuner; and an infant brother, Harry Neuner. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. Burial will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Freeburg Cemetery Fund, 104 Oliver St. P.O. Box 9, Freeburg, MO 65035. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
