Dear Mrs. LeGrand,
While it was with sadness that I learned of Mr. LeGrand’s passing, it is with happiness to know you lived such a long and happy life together. I have always treasured that fond memory of my trip with you to the ballet at the St. Louis Muny Opera. Please also send my sympathy and prayers to Sue, Martha and Marybeth.

Wade had the good fortune to be hired by Felix at the MBA and we have fond memories of Felix and his many kindnesses and encouragements. Penny was a great partner and know his passing is sad for her as well as his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. What joy he must have gained from them! As someone wrote when my father died, “Heaven is a mighty fine place.” We are comforted thinking of Felix and that grand smile in his setting.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have known him.

The LeGrand Family,
I am sorry to read of your loss. When a loved ones dies we can look to Jehovah God for comfort and hope through his word the Bible. At Job 14:7 it says ” For there exists hope for even a tree. If it gets cut down, it will even sprout again, and its own twig will not cease to be.” This verse is talking about an olive tree. As long as its roots are intact it will live. Are we worth more to Jehovah than a tree? He thinks so. What does this scripture mean for us? There is a hope for us, just as the tree will ‘sprout again’ we will as well when we die. We have the hope of the resurrection which is when we will be woken up from death and reunited with our loved ones. This is true of all of our loved ones we have lost. I hope this thought helps you cope. Remember to look to Jehovah God who will help you cope.
