FRED JOSEPH BRENNEKE

Fred Joseph Brenneke, 59, of Osage Bend, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center. He was born June 29, 1945, in Jefferson City, the son of Hubert J. and Rosella M. Bruns Brenneke. He was married on August 10, 1965, in Marys Home to Mary Elizabeth Evers who survives at the home. Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Lori Brenneke; John and Susanne Brenneke; and James and Sheila Brenneke, all of Osage Bend; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jean and Art Otto; and Judy M. Brenneke, all of Osage Bend; eight grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Betty Brenneke, Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by two infant brothers. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2004, at St. Margaret Catholic Church, Osage Bend, with the Rev. Mark A. Porterfield officiating. Burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Osage Bend. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. A 1963 graduate of Helias High School, Mr. Brenneke was employed for thirty years as a meat cutter for various supermarkets, and later was employed with Missouri Farm Bureau before retiring in 2002. He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church, Osage Bend; National Rifle Association; and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
