GEORGE EDWARD O'HANLON, JR.

George Edward OHanlon, Jr., 91, of Jefferson City, died Monday, September 3, 2012, at Villa Maria Skilled Nursing Facility.
He was born on March 22, 1921, in Millwood, Mo, the son of the late George Edward OHanlon Sr., and Nora Rebecca Perkins OHanlon.
He served with the United States Army Air Corps as a tail gunner during World War II.
He was a graduate of the University of Missouri.
He was united in marriage on October 1, 1949, in Farmington, Mo, to Pauline Sara Bergman who survives.
George was in agriculture all of his life primarily in feed sales for over 40 years.
He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion Post 5.
Other survivors include: three children, Patricia OHanlon, Irving, Texas; Michael (Sharon) OHanlon, Pleasant Hill, Mo; Robert OHanlon, Jefferson City; and three grandchildren, Ryan (Erica) OHanlon; Meghan OHanlon; and Caitlin OHanlon.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn OHanlon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Msgr. Robert A. Kurwicki, officiating.
Burial with military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
