Geraldine A. Winkelmann, 97, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at St. Josephs Home. She was born on Nov. 15, 1909, in Wardsville, the daughter of Herman and Johanna Melies Winkelmann. She graduated from Ursuline Academy, St. Louis. Miss Winkelmann was employed with many state and federal agencies for forty-five years, retiring in 1980 as a secretary for the Adjutant Generals office. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church; Sodality of Our Lady; Over Fifty Club; Association of Retired Missouri State Employees; charter member of Meadow Lake Acres Country Club; and a volunteer for St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bernard Winkelmann, Edmund Winkelmann, and Otto Winkelmann; five sisters, Johanna Pottebaum, Marie Markway, Zita Rackers, Bernadine Winkelmann, and Clementine Winkelmann; and one infant brother, Joseph Winkelmann. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville, with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Wardsville. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, May 6th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. An additional visitation will be 10-11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville.
