Gilberte Rachael Betty Brashear, 86, of Jefferson City passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018, at her residence.
She was born April 10, 1931, in Nashua, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Octave and Alice (Rousseau) LePage.
She was a 1949 graduate of St. Peters High School.
She was united in marriage on June 1, 1949, in Jefferson City, to John R. Brashear who preceded her in death on October 8, 1994.
Betty worked for the State of Missouri as an account clerk for over 43 years retiring in April of 1996.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the AARP. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the Isle of Capri Casino.
Survivors include two children, Gilberte (Cyrus) Parastar, Jefferson City; Gail (Herman Butch) Stiefferman, Dittmer, MO; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Laure Doucet, Andover, Mass.; and Marcel (Adrienne) LePage, Saco, Maine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, J. R. Brashear and Anthony James Brashear; one daughter, Ann Terese Brashear; two sister, Lorraine Beaulieu and Collette Mall; and three brothers, Hervey LePage, Paul LePage and Norman LePage.
Visitation will be 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at St. Peter Catholic Church.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
