Glenn Clark Scott, 54, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Capitol Region Medical Center. He was born on September 6, 1949 in Mexico, MO, the son of Chauncey and Helen Gertrude Clark Scott. Survivors include his brother, Larry C. Scott, Sr., Jefferson City; his sister, Lillian Maxine Scott Kemp, Jefferson City; four nieces, Marilyn Jones, Kansas City, MO; Debbie Ghoreyan, Jefferson City; Abigail LaTonya Kemp Glover, Jefferson City; and Pam Green, Troy, MO; two nephews, Wendell Scott, Denver, CO; and Larry C. Scott, Jr., Sedalia, MO; fifteen great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Chauncey Scott, Jr. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at Quinn Chapel AME Church, Jefferson City, with the Rev. Freda Cash Bady officiating. Burial will be Longview Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Glenn Scott Scholarship Fund for Cosmetology Students and may be left at the funeral home. He was a 1967 graduate of Mexico High School; a graduate of Mile High Cosmetology School, Denver, CO; and attended the University of Dover, Delaware. Mr. Scott was a hair stylist for thirty-seven years and was an instructor at the Famous-Barr School of Beauty in St. Louis for nine years before moving to Jefferson City in 1984. He was a member of Quinn Chapel AME Church.
