Words can’t explain how much COACH ment to me… He was my favorite resident @Oaktree. We always talked about going to the Casino and winning big money… My heart is so broken right now he was truly loved by many and will be missed dearly.. Love you Coach Debra Hughes CNA
Going to miss Coach. We would have a love/ hate relationship regarding high school sports. He was the Coach in Valmeyer Illinois when I went to Gibault Catholic High School in Waterloo. I always would ask him how my river rat was and he would ask me how his hawk was. He always wanted to hear about my trips to Illinois to see my friends. I always had to let him know that Valmeyer was still there.
So sorry to hear about the loss of your family member.
Glenn married my cousin Jane. Over the years my husband Fred, Jane, Glenn and I would meet at family gatherings and at Booneville. While we lived in different states, when Fred and Glenn got together they enjoyed story telling. Both had Parkinson’s, both loved sports, both loved people and both could laugh. Fred passed away last month, and now Glenn. RIP guys. Glenn was a special person and will be missed but not forgotten.
Glen was my Godmothers son. Loved this family! Peace be with you Peggy Cook, Warrenton, Mo
Coach Dothage. Rest in Peace. You were an inspiration to me as a coach and friend.
Thank you all so much for EZ. He is a joy in our lives and it is an honor to love and care for him in honor of this wonderful man.
I will miss my friend.Tremendous coach, educator and camping partner. Better human being. Mick Byrd
Although I don’t know Glenn’s family, I have thought of him often. He was best man at my marriage to Luther Bierbaum in 1960. Luther passed away December 22, 2017. Luther and Glenn played a lot of baseball together, I have several pictures from those baseball days. Glenn and Jane sat at our table when we celebrated our 50th Anniversary in St Louis in August of 2010.
