  2. To the Surface family, I’m so sorry to hear about Glessie. Sending you our thoughts and prayers. Love, Debbie, Carrie and Katie McIlwain

  3. There are so many fun memories of cousin Glessie & my late husband Dan Wekenborg – son of Ed & Dean Wekenborg. Last one to share is that the place they both ran into each other on a regular basis was Gerbes liquor dept because, as Glessie always explained, was the entrance she used to do her grocery shopping! Glessie & Dan we’re truly related as shown by their sense of humor. They no doubt are sharing a joke in heaven. Bless your family & celebrate her life. From Nancy Wekenborg & children Justin, Libby Lock & Kara Ready

  4. So sorry to hear of Glessie’ s passing. I think we were 3rd cousins. Her grandma was my Dad’s sister. We sure had a lot of fun going to dances and partying in the 50’s. Rest in peace cuz.
