Harold Charles Plassmeyer, 75 of Westphalia, MO, died Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at his home. He was born September 26, 1932 in Koeltztown, MO, the son of Vincent and Anna Even Plassmeyer. On September 21, 1957 he was married in St. Louis to Marguerite Eleanor Korn who survives at the home. An Army veteran, Mr. Plassmeyer was employed as a truck driver for 30 years having worked for Central Transport and Superior Forwarding, Inc retiring in 1992. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia; was a member of the Teamsters Local 600 and the National Rifle Association. Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and John Urekar, St. Louis, MO; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kathy Plassmeyer Sr., St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Christina Urekar, David Urekar, Michael Plassmeyer, Jr. and Ashley Plassmeyer. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard Plassmeyer. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9 a.m. Saturday, September, 22, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia, MO. with the Rev. Philip M. Kane, V.F. officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Westphalia, MO. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 2413 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109 or Shriners Childrens Hospital ,St. Louis, MO.
