Harold J. Leivian, 75, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Adams Street Place with all of his loving family surrounding him. He was born on October 16, 1932, in Bonnots Mill, the son of Corrilla Leivian Carmack. He was united in marriage on September 15, 1951, in Linn to Rose Ann Nilges who survives at the home. He was a 1950 graduate of St. Peter High School. Mr. Leivian worked for Von Hoffman Press as a printer until 1983. He also managed Jefferson City Federal Employees Credit Union for ten years with his wife. Harold was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Helias Counsel 1054; Helias Boosters, Golden Eagle with the Eagles Club, and former member of Meadow Lake Acres Country Club. He enjoyed watching Helias sports especially girls softball and basketball. His greatest enjoyment was playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren. Other survivors include: four daughters and one son-in-law, Janice Leivian, Jefferson City; Doris Leivian, Farmington, Mo.; Laura Leivian, Springfield, Mo.; Ellie and Randy Bono, Jefferson City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Lin Leivian, Tempe, Az.; James and Gail Leivian, Jefferson City; four grandchildren, Scott and his wife Georgia Snodgrass; Doug Bono; Katy Bono; Josh Marshall; three step-grandchildren, April and her husband Josh Mullins; Stephanie and her husband Tim ONeil; Melanie and her husband Erol Baskurt; and five step-great-grandchildren, Anna Mullins; Jacob Mullins; Aidan ONeil; Quin ONeil; and Amy Baskurt. He was preceded in death by his mother. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Benjamin Nwosu, officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2008, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 East McCarty St., Jefferson City, Mo. 65101; or to Helias Foundation, P.O.
