Guestbook

  1. I would like to express my condolences to the family of Harry Jansen. I learned of his passing through his life-long friend, Tom Werner.

I met Harry many years ago when we both worked for the Federal Government in Washington, DC. While we were working, our families would get together for dinners. After we both retired, Harry and I would frequently go out for a long breakfast or lunch to discuss current events, Washington politics and “solve” world problems. I remember that Harry was an active volunteer with the National Wildlife Federation which he greatly enjoyed. I regret we lost contact after moving away from Northern Virginia, but I have many fond memories of our time together there.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of sorrow.
