HELEN FRANCES CALLAGHAN

December 28, 1919 ~ November 10, 2012
She was born on December 28, 1919, the daughter of the late Ignacy and Katarzyna Krecidlo Golas.
She was married on May 28, 1946, in Oswego, New York, to Richard Patrick Callaghan who preceded her on November 20, 1973.
A homemaker, Mrs. Callaghan was employed for ten years with the former Chesebrough-Ponds Company.
She was a member of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph and enjoyed golf, bingo, and bridge. The wife of a Major in the United States Army, Mrs. Callaghan followed her husband all over the world during his lengthy military career.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon (Richard) Pemberton, Jefferson City; and Carol (John Joe) Welch, Brighton, Michigan; four grandchildren, Bryan Pemberton, Teresa Mudd, Doug Welch, and Tom Welch; and five great-grandchildren, Braydon Pemberton, Carson Mudd, Conner Mudd, Mason Welch, and Emily Welch..
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patricia Ann Callaghan; one sister, Sophie Bareham; and four brothers, Joe Golas, Fred Golas, Stanley Golas, and Frank Golas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Chapel of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, with the Rev. Dylan Schrader officiating.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 15th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of her passing. I will sure miss seeing her at the office. She was always such a sweet lady and I always looked forward to seeing her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
