Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all at the loss of your Mother Helen……The Family of The Late Victor & Irene Stegeman

  2. Helen was my most favorite babysitter. My daughters, Melanie and Shelley, loved her and when we bid her goodbye and I stayed home, Melanie always wanted to go back to see Helen. I never really knew if it was to see her or have friends to play with. So sorry for your loss. Helen was a beautiful person inside and out. Alice Schenewerk/Bernskoetter

  3. I have so many fond memories of Helen and the time my sisters and I spent at her home when she was our baby sitter. My childhood was influenced by her sunshine dinners and Palmolive pool water. One of my favorite Helen sayings – “get outside and blow the stink off”. I may have used that once or twice with my boys. I’m so sorry for your loss. She was a dear woman.

  4. Like my sisters I loved my years spent with Helen. I learned so many of life’s truths with her-there is great joy to be had in a sandbox, hot tea with honey can cure most anything, everyone should have a porch swing, God is good and family is important, Palmolive makes pool time more fun, if there’s no green on your plate then just call it a sunshine dinner and all’s well, sunscreen is waaaay overrated, and it is so very important to get out and blow the stink off! I’m honored to have known her and pray for peace and healing hearts for your family. Thank you for sharing her with the Clingman girls
