Ida Belle Ruth Dothage, 78, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, August 26, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center. She was born on December 22, 1925, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Christopher Columbus and Maude May Paulk Hager. She was married on August 12, 1949, in Hutchinson, to the Rev. Russell Oliver Dothage who died on June 9, 2002. Survivors include three nephews, Eldon Hager, Colorado Springs, CO; James Stewart, Westminster, CA; and Joseph Stewart, Wellington, KS; and four nieces, Fayra Eckley, Olathe, KS; Ruth Redger, Liberal, KS; Leona Keene, Seligman, MO; and Joellyn Cotton, Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; elder sister, Nellie May Stewart; and older brother, Charles Irwin Hager. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2004, at Rosedale Church of God (Holiness), in Kansas City, KS. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Rosedale Church of God (Holiness), 4473 Adams Street, Kansas City, KS 66103; or Fulton Church of God (Holiness), 305 E. Second Street, Fulton, MO 65251. Mrs. Dothage was a teacher at Overland Christian High School, Kansas City College and Bible School, and Kirksville Bible School. She served as a missionary in St Thomas in the Virgin Islands and on Grand Cayman and Anguilla Islands. She was a member of the Fulton Church of God (Holiness).
