Jacob Peter Farina, 71, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, June 24, 2006, at St. Marys Health Center. He was born on Sept. 5, 1934 in Galveston, TX, the son of Peter and Lucille ODell Farina. He was a 1952 graduate of Dickinson High School. Mr. Farina was a veteran of the United States Navy and served for four years aboard the U.S.S. Hancock aircraft carrier. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Olivia Strom and Mack Tolbert, Dickinson, TX; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Donna Farina, Abita Springs, LA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Farina. Services will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at the Salvation Army Chapel with the Rev. Roger Wilson officiating.
