May you rest in peace, Chris.
Chris represented our organization for many years in the legislature with great integrity.
He was a good friend as well. I was sadened to just learn of his passing.
Our condolences to his wife Veralyn and the family.
We pray for the repose of his soul.
One of my favorite Uncle Chris memories was at the lake. I was maybe 6 or 7 and we were out on the dock. Chris loved to horse around and was teasing me by pretending to throw my new Princess Jasmine sandal in the lake. Well, the sandal ended up in the water and to his horror it began to sink instead of float, and I started to cry! Chris dove fully clothed into the lake and got that sandal back for me. Never a dull moment with Uncle Chris!
We will all miss his humor and kindness.
