  1. Jeannie always had a smile on her face and joy in her heart. All our years of sports and CYC dances and meetings were loads of fun! Your wedding was a blast and a military life with Bill and the kids. What an adventure your life was! Enjoy your reunion with Al, Imy and MaryAnne! Say hi to Fr. for me! Until we meet again, my friend! Love, Janice

  2. Miss Jeannie was so great with children. She touched and blessed many lives over the years. It was a pleasure to work with her. She had a heart of gold! She will be missed so much.

  3. Aunt jeannie always made sure she thought of every person in the family, no matter how small. She brought and made crafts for the kiddos during family events and always remembered the special moments in our lives. I am blessed to call her family. My thoughts and prayers are with all her family and friends and we look forward to celebrating her very full life in the future!

  4. Ms. Jeannie was a wonderful and kind teacher to my kids at Capital Region child care. When she was there in the morning, they would go right to her arms and let me leave for work.

  5. Jeannie always had a smile on her face. She let you remind yourself to let the kid come out of you. Live life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by her sisters. She always said how blessed she was with a terrific husband and 2 wonderful kids. We love you and will miss you .

  6. Miss Jeannie was a blessing. She taught our son, Caleb, at preschool. My favorite Miss Jeannie quote was “Done is in the oven, are you FINISHED?” Caleb LOVED to say that! We will be praying for the family during this time. Marty, Teresa and Caleb Stangl

  8. Family meant everything to Jeannie. She and her family never missed a Thanksgiving or Christmas, no matter where they lived. Once the move to Jeff City they made every gathering there was. She made she talked to everyone especially the little ones. Jeannie I will miss our phone calls. Love to your whole family. Your big sis.

  9. My sister was spot on when she posted about it on her Facebook; we never wondered if we were loved with Mom. She always made sure we knew we were loved. From helping our sports teams or classrooms, to playing sports with us, to playing with us at home, to welcoming our friends (and later our spouses and kids) into her household with open arms, her heart was as big as ever. She always made sure she let me know how much I was loved as well as Shawna, Trevor and Avery every time we talked to her or saw her in person. I’ve tried to continue that with Trevor, Avery, and Shawna, to always let them know how much I love them. Mom, you’ll be missed tremendously, but we will see you again. We love you, Mom.

  10. We met Ms Jeanie at Capitol Region Day Care. I was a divorced mother of three and she adopted me and my children. We felt nothing but love from her. Jeanie introduced us to Rebecca and Ryan who were also big part of our lives. I dont know how I would have made it without them, during that period of my life. Thank you for your love and support and kind words. We will miss you so much!

  11. Bill, Rebecca, Michael and family, I’m shocked and saddened to read this about Jeannie. We spent so much time together at Red Cross. Seeing her smile and pride after helping a client was so heart warming. She was always so proud of her self as well she should have been. She loved her work there helping people. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Michael & Lynne Stelzleni

  12. I too was fortunate to have met Miss Jeannie while she cared for my oldest son at preschool. She was the best!! Always so kind and cared about every child in her care. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Please know that her memory will live on in the kindness she showed to so many children and parents who were fortunate enough to know her.

  13. I had the honor to meet Jeannie through her son, Mike. Mike is married to my sister, Shawna. Jeannie was like a ray of sunshine. Always so happy and friendly. She never met a person she didn’t like and was always so welcoming and talkative. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family as they grieve her loss and honor her life. Love, Sarah
