Jean Ann Zimmerman, 87, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born September 18, 1933, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Carl Everett and Minnie “Pat” (Reynolds) Stone.
She was a 1951 graduate of Jefferson City High School.
She was united in marriage on December 25, 1953, in Jefferson City, to Stanley T. Zimmerman.
Jean worked for Central Bank as a bookkeeper for over 24 years.
She was a member of First Christian Church. She was kind-hearted and loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. She enjoyed board games, watching game shows, sewing, and collectibles.
Survivors include three children, Shaun (Paqui) Zimmerman, Jefferson City; Aaron (Rita) Zimmerman, Kansas City, MO; Leanne (Steve) Rhoads, Holts Summit; six grandchildren, Sasha (Ben) Smith, Tony Zimmerman-Lopez, Brittany Rhoads, Lindsey (Thomas) Bardwell, Nicholas Rhoads, Emma Rhoads; and four great-grandchildren, Christian Smith, Elias “Eli” Smith, Michael Armstrong, Briley Bardwell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ralph Stone; and sister, Hazel “Tootie” Schenewerk.
Out of current health concerns, a graveside service is planned for family at Riverview Cemetery. Details for a future Celebration of Life to be announced.
Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Family of Jean ! I loved this woman. She and I worked together for many years. I called her Jean o . We had such a good time at work. She was always a sunshine in the office… such a sweet lady! I can only say I know Jean went straight to heaven and will be watching over all of her family ! Love, Patty Cain
