Jeffery Michael “Jeff” Brewer, 60, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born February 20, 1962, in Perryville, Missouri, the son of Earl James and Judith Ann (Thompson) Brewer.

Jeff was a graduate of Perryville High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University.

He was united in marriage on February 4, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City to Geralyn Ann “Geri” (Schulte) Bemboom who survives at the home.

Jeff worked as a maintenance supervisor at Hawthorn Bank.  He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and baking.

Survivors include his wife, Geri Brewer, Jefferson City; two children, Blake Brewer (Carissa Sanchez), Overland Park, KS; Holly Brewer (Josh Malloy), Jefferson City; three step-children, Kara Bemboom Grefrath (Sam Grefrath), Kansas City, MO; Jana (Brandon) Ruediger, Jefferson City; Lacy (Ian) Patterson, Prairie Village, KS; four step-grandchildren, Hank Grefrath, Crosby Grefrath, Trey Ruediger, Charley Patterson; and two siblings, Tracie (Don) Hotop, Perryville; and Scott Brewer (Colette Gremaud, Perryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family prayer service will be held at 8:45 a.m. followed by public visitation from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Jason Doke officiating.

Burial will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Martin Catholic Church or to the St. Martin Catholic Cemetery.
