Johanna Henrietta Jane Pickert, 77, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at her residence. She was born on Aug. 25, 1928 in Folk, MO, the daughter of Joseph H. and Margaret Veltrop Forck. She was married on Oct. 11, 1947 in Jefferson City to Ivo John Pickert who survives at the home. A 1946 graduate of St. Peter High School, Mrs. Pickert was employed in the office at St. Marys Hospital and later with International Shoe Company. She retired in 1988 as a secretary with Union Electric Company where she had been employed for twenty-four years. She was a member of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph; Ladies Sodality; and the Perpetual Adoration program for many years. Other survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Thomas Forck, New Florence, MO; Cyril Forck, Memphis, TN; Joseph and Bonnie Forck, Jefferson City; and Rose Forck, Jefferson City; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Ed Hood, Jefferson City; Therese and Don Markway, Jefferson City; and Yvonne and William Wittman, Jefferson City; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Tony Forck. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph with the Rev. Robert A. Kurwicki officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, 2305 W.
