John Anthony Moeller, 67, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 16, 1941, in Jefferson City to Anton John and Matilda Lucille Schetzler Moeller. He was united in marriage on Sept. 10, 1966, in Jefferson City to Glenda Faye Bryan who survives at the home. He had worked for the Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Dept. for over 26 years. He enjoyed fishing and greatly loved his children and grandchildren. Other survivors include: three daughters and spouses, Leslie and Greg Williams, Hartsburg; Lisa Emmerich, Jefferson City; Stacie and Walter Gibson, Holts Summit; three sons and spouses, William and Stormi Moeller; Daniel and Jennifer Moeller, all of Jefferson City; Aaron and Alicia Moeller, Holts Summit; twelve grandchildren, Gregory and Elizabeth Williams; Alexi and Lenzi Moeller; Matthew, Mallory, and Malaina Moeller; Brittny, Brooke, and Brandon Gibson; Isaac and Sarah Moeller; and three sisters and spouses, Helen and Elmer Kempker; Agnes and David Voss; and Alice Sachs. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William and Henry Moeller; and a sister, Rita Moeller. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin A Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the John Anthony Moeller Memorial Fund.
