John “Jay” Jordan, 90, of Jefferson City passed away at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Jefferson City.  The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Reverend Matthew Flatley officiating.  Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Capital Campaign Fund or the Samaritan Center.

  2. One of the best souls I have ever known. So thankful for these last ten years working together and the memories that were made. Jay was an amazing storyteller, educator, jokester, optimist, and FRIEND. His loss will be felt deeply, by so many.
