John Michael Lehmuth, 54, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at his home He was born on July 2, 1952, in St. Louis, the son of Edward Carl, Jr. and Georgette Marchand Lehmuth. His mother survives in Camdenton, MO. He was married on Dec. 20, 1974, in St. Louis to Joanne Elizabeth Depwe who survives at the home. Mr. Lehmuth was a 1970 graduate of Preparatory Seminary South High School, St. Louis, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Louis University in 1974. He was employed for several automobile agencies including King Dodge, St. Louis; Capitol City Chrysler, Jefferson City; and Lakeway Ford, Eldon. He was a member of the Roman Catholic faith. Other survivors include seven daughters and husbands, Anne and Steve Peters, St. Peters, MO; Madeleine and Nathan Koch, OFallon, MO; Catherine and Charles Ulrich, Holts Summit, MO; Erica Lehmuth, Aimee Lehmuth, Gabrielle Lehmuth, and Christina Lehmuth, all at home; five sons and their wives, Alain-Michael and Jennifer Lehmuth, St. Louis; Sgt. John-Christophe and Lauren Lehmuth, Stafford, VA; Lance Corporal James Lehmuth, Camp Lejeune, NC; and Daniel Lehmuth and Timothy Lehmuth, both at home; eight grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; two sisters, Sr. Mary Georgette Lehmuth, New York City; and Joan Christine Lehmuth, Camdenton; and two brothers, George Lehmuth and his wife, Suzanne, St. Louis; and Marc and Cindy Lehmuth, Atlanta, Ga. He was preceded in death by his father. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at the Carmelite Monastery, 2201 W. Main Street, Jefferson City, MO, with the Rev. Daniel I.J. Lueckenotte officiating. An additional Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Road, St. Charles, MO, with a luncheon to follow. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis.
