John Stanley Stan Davis, Sr., 55, of Tebbetts, MO, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at his residence. He was born on July 29, 1951, in Maywood, CA, the son of John Elton and Mabel Alma Boyce Davis. He was married on Dec 28, 1974, in Las Vegas, NV, to Linda Grace James who survives at the home. Together with his wife, Mr. Davis owned and operated StanLin Auto and Truck Salvage in Tebbetts for twenty-five years and was a nationally registered paramedic with Cam-Mo Ambulance District, Laurie, MO, for five years. He was President of South Callaway Fire Protection District and Captain of the First Responders; a member of Tebbetts Lodge #565, A.F. Scottish Rite; and Moolah Shrine Temple where he was active with the clown unit. Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Brian Davis-Kujath, Jefferson City; one son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Stephanie Davis, Jr., Sedalia, MO; one sister, Beverly Vanderwal, Long Beach, CA; and a nephew and his wife, Rickie & Jeanelle James, Lake City, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Mr. John Cline officiating. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m., Saturday, March 24th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Masonic Rites conducted at 6 p.m. Private burial will be in Williams Cemetery, New Bloomfield.
