Josefina Tenorio de Lucio, 85, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at her residence.

She was born October 14, 1938, in Zacatecas, Mexico, the daughter of Susano Tenorio and Romana Gomez.

She was united in marriage to Severiano Lucio who preceded her in death.

Josefina was a loving homemaker.

Survivors include eight children, Marcela (Javier), Alicia, Josefina (Victor), Francisco, Rosaura (Jacobo), Pedro, Jesus (Delmy), Angel; one sister, Magdalena; several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

A family visitation will be held Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas L. Alber officiating.
