Joe was a great friend to my family. Always a laugh a minute when he was around my Dad. Hope they find each other again. So sorry for your loss. Love Debbie & Dave Perkins and The Hawkins Family.

Such a kind and sharing person. Shared many visits at the shooting club in the “ole” days. You will be missed Joe!!
I worked with Joe at the MO DHSS in 2004-05. I was impressed with his expertise when it came to STDs. I also remember a day that he brought in a large bill (maybe $1000 bill??) to show me. He will be missed.
This is my favourite photo of Joe. He did not like his photo to be taken so to have one of him smiling or laughing is very rare! He was very generous and hospitable to us when we visited and was happy to take us wherever we wanted to go. He will leave a very large hole in the family. I will always remember him growling at me when I was teasing him.
my dear janet, sandy and mikey and families… please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of this dear dear joe… he was so so thoughtful and helpful to me while we were neighbors there and i will ever remember and be grateful for his caring ways… prayers and thoughts of you each at this time of loss… sincerely, verna
I had the pleasure to grow up with Joe and Bobby In Hamilton,NJ. I can remember when we were young Joe was so passionate about flying. He is now soaring with the angels. RIP. Rick Reinhardt
Love you Uncle Joe. You will be missed by all. Loved your stories about flying, diving, motorcycles and travel! I admire your courageous and adventurous spirit so much!
Joe was a wonderful man. He taught me how to create pivot tables in MS Excel while at DHSS. We also worked at food safety exhibits where he was so good talking with the public. This photo is from 2001 at the Missouri State Fair. My sympathy to the family, Carol Braun.
I worked with Joe many years ago at the Health Department. He was a good man and a good soul! Barbara Boshard
