Josephine Katherine Spieker
She was born in Westphalia to Henry and Johanna Forck Wilbers. She was married on November 28, 1934 in Westphalia to Paul Herman Spieker who died on July 15, 1980. Survivors include one son, David Paul Spieker, Jefferson City; two daughters, Marilyn Jane Evers, Neosho; and Patricia Ann Wilding, Jefferson City; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Martha Barnes, Jefferson City; and Mary Pickett, St. Louis. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; St. Ann's Sodality; Immaculata Club; Daughters of Isabella; National Association of Retired Railroaders; and St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary. A homemaker, she was employed as a clerk with the Missouri Department of Revenue for several years until retiring in 1975.
