Josephine L. Jo Wisch, 81, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at the Mother Angeline McCrory Manor in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on June 23, 1926, in Jefferson City, the daughter of John M. and Ida Catherine Kroll Lauf. She was united in marriage on June 10, 1950, in Jefferson City to Theodore A. Wisch who survives at the home. A legal stenographer for Missouri Power and Light early in her marriage, Jo later was a homemaker and community volunteer. She was active for many years with the Heart of Missouri Girls Scouts and Girl Scout troops at St. Peter School. She also was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Ladies Sodality of St. Peter, and Lioness Club of Jefferson City. Other survivors include: three daughters, Carol (Carl) Williams, St. Louis; Janet (Peter) Feldkamp, Grove City, Ohio; Donna Craven, Lexington, KY; one son, David (Leslie) Wisch, Richmond, TX; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Anne Lauf, Nicholasville, KY; and one brother, Harry (June) Lauf, Jefferson City. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday February 25, 2008, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church, 216 Broadway St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.
