Joyce Ann Wieberg, 80, of Wardsville, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was born June 13, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Frank Anthony and Lillian Genevieve (Albertson) Dickneite.
Joyce was a 1963 graduate of Ludwigsburg High School in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
She was united in marriage on May 6, 1967, in Taos to Arnold Francis Wieberg, Sr. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2023.
Joyce worked for many years for the State of Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. She also worked in earlier years for Play-Mor Trailers in Freeburg, Missouri.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Perpetual Adoration, Quilting Group, and the Over 50 Club.
Joyce enjoyed outdoor activities, especially fishing and camping. Her life centered around her family and their activities, and she loved watching her grandchildren play sports. Traveling with her husband on bus trips, and cruises to Alaska, Hawaii, and the Caribbean were highlights in her life. She had a special place in her heart for her dog, Rusty.
Survivors include five children, Lisa (Gary, Sr.) Galeski, Lake Ozark; Becky (Brian) Buechter, Wardsville; Arnold, Jr. (Cindy) Wieberg, California, Missouri; Bob (Lisa) Wieberg, Jefferson City; and Brian (Connie) Wieberg, Gilbert, Arizona; fourteen grandchildren, Roxanne Struemph, Gary (Susan) Galeski, Jr., Allison Wieberg, Benjamin Galeski, Nathan Wieberg, Alexis Buechter, Samuel Galeski, Zachary Wieberg, Clayton Wieberg, Jonathan Wieberg, Brady Buechter, Dustin Wieberg, Kallie Buechter, and Madison Wieberg; four great-grandchildren, Karson Wieberg, Zander Struemph, Magnolia Galeski, and Iris Galeski; two siblings, Janice (Allen) Heckman, Folk; and Dennis (Carol) Dickneite, Jefferson City; and a sister-in-law, Janice Dickneite, Jefferson City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arnold, Sr. and a brother, James Dickneite.
Visitation will be 9-11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James L. Finder officiating.
Entombment will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Mausoleum.
