Juanita Lee Struempf, 98, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at Golden Living Center. She was born on Nov. 16, 1909, in New Lebanon, Mo., the daughter of William Jasper and Lena Koster Thomas. She was married on June 18, 1941, in Jefferson City to Herbert John Struempf who died on Aug. 10, 1991. A homemaker, Mrs. Struempf had lived in Jefferson City since 1939. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church; Ladies Sodality; and the New Lebanon Historical Society. Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Viola Johnson and Mary Bassmann, both of Jefferson City; and Dolores Forck, Mexico, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Donardo S. Bermejo officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
