Judith Gail Fitzpatrick

Judith Gail Fitzpatrick, 85, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born May 23, 1938, in Carthage, Missouri, the daughter of Owen Franklin and Hazel Pauline (Scrivner) Fenton.
She was a 1956 graduate of Northeast Senior High School in Kansas City, MO.
She was united in marriage on February 11, 1956, at East Minster Presbyterian Church in Kansas City to Frank Eugene Fitzpatrick who preceded her in death on November 23, 1990.
Judith worked tirelessly to provide for her family as an office manager in warehousing. She was most recently a member of Concord Baptist Church in Jefferson City. Above all else, she treasured the time with her family always available for memorable outings celebrating four generations of birthdays, holiday dinners and grandkids’ activities. She had a refined singing voice and enjoyed singing in church and community choirs as well various weddings in her younger years. She and her husband Frank enjoyed competitive square dancing throughout the Midwest and an occasional two-step. Judy loved the game of football and could hold her end of the conversation up with any NFL enthusiast.
Survivors include her son, Greg (Sherry) Fitzpatrick, Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Kyle (Alyson) Fitzpatrick, Kansas City; Lindsey (Tomas) Dawson, Belton, MO; Shannon (Zach) Bedsworth, New Bloomfield; and nine great grandchildren, Leigha, Parker, Owen, Clayton, Reid, Elaine, Aaron, Hannah, and Mavric.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Fitzpatrick; her son, Jeffrey Fitzpatrick; and two brothers, Rex Fenton and Gary Fenton.
Sweet Judy as her friends called her, gave abundant selfless love with a giving heart to all who knew her as mom, gram, aunt and friend!
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Dr. Monte Shinkle officiating.
A private family burial will be held at Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Central Missouri Food Bank or to Vitae Foundation.

Judy will be missed by everyone at Chapel Hill, so sweet and enjoyable to talk to. She was so proud of her family she always talked about them and if she attended a birthday gathering or holiday she would talk about the fun she had. Thoughts and prayers to Greg and the family.
