She was born in Folk to Anton Steve and Martha Elizabeth Heckman Baumhoer. She was married on August 3, 1957 in Folk to Raymond Francis Bauer who died on January 19, 2002. Survivors include four daughters, Kathleen M. Simpson, Brenda C. Zeugin, Lisa M. Yungbluth, and Mary M. Griggs, all of Jefferson City; eleven grandchldren; two brothers, Frank Baumhoer, Westphalia; and Roger Baumhoer, Holts Summit; and two sisters, Patsy Baumhoer, Folk; and Eleanor Luadzers, St. Martins. She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Raymond Francis Bauer and Joseph Girard Bauer. She was employed with International Shoe Company, and later served as a line operator for twenty-eight years with Unilever, Inc. until her retirmemnt in 1996. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, was active with the church's prayer line, and was a communion minister to nursing home and shut-in parishioners.
