Kim Jay Green, 48, of Jefferson City, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on Sept. 10, 1958 in Clayton, MO, the son of Glen Leroy and Jessie Marie Nichol Green. He was a 1976 graduate of Southwest High School in St. Louis; received the Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri in 1980; and the Master of Arts degree in Communications from Central Missouri State University in 1988. Mr. Green was Communications Director for the Senate Democratic Caucus. Active in Missouri Democratic politics, he was a former aid to retired Missouri Senator Harold L. Caskey. An avid St. Louis Cardinal fan, he was a member of the Missouri Alumni Association; Lions International; and the Jaycees. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Vivian Green, St. Louis; two nieces, Shelley Blecha and her husband, Steve, Imperial, MO; and Terri Green, St. Louis County, MO; and one grand-nephew, Clayton Blecha. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kevin Mark Green. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald R. Scheperle officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6th, at the funeral home.
